About the position

The Technical Account Manager, Post-Sales - SME at Qualys is responsible for managing relationships with Small and Medium Enterprise customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving renewals and upsells of services. This role involves regular communication with customers, performing technical checkups, and serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries. The position also requires gathering customer feedback to inform product development and company direction, with success measured by renewal and upsell rates as well as overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with Small and Medium Enterprise customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Renew and upsell services to the client base quarterly.
  • Perform technical checkups and connect regularly with existing customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, utilizing resources such as Support and Pre-Sales.
  • Gather customer feedback and use cases to inform internal teams and product management.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales to assist in closing customers from a technical perspective.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry providing Network Security, IT-Auditing, and Policy Compliance solutions.
  • General knowledge of IT security fields including Firewall, IPS/IDS, Vulnerability Management, and Network Scanners.
  • Familiarity with Federal Regulatory Compliance issues such as HIPAA, GLBA, and Sarbanes Oxley SOX.
  • Knowledge of Auditing Frameworks like CIS, NIST, CobiT, ISO27001, and ITIL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with enterprise security solutions.
  • Knowledge of PCI and Policy Compliance/GRC-IT.
