About the position

The Technical Account Manager is responsible for understanding client business requirements and providing technical solutions to ensure successful implementation of software products. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and clients to prioritize customer success and facilitate the adoption of best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client business requirements and discover technical needs for project success.
  • Collaborate with internal project managers, implementation consultants, and cross-functional departments.
  • Report progress and updates to clients and internal teams regularly.
  • Provide technical collaboration and support with customers' IT implementation staff.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on implementation methodology for all engagements.
  • Perform general product configuration and create/update reports.
  • Create/update integrations and bulk load data.
  • Create/update workflows and overcome client and internal obstacles to complete tasks.
  • Mentor clients in the adoption of best practices for product success.
  • Identify opportunities to position additional service offerings.
  • Support team in mentoring new Technical Account Manager teammates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong/professional consulting experience in software installation.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and Windows servers.
  • Passion for customer service and understanding of its impact on company success.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers.
  • Provide clarity on technical aspects of installations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Experience in conflict management and team building.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technology through instruction and self-training.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Internet Information Services.
  • Client management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and creating SQL scripts.
  • Data migration experience.
  • Experience with SAML authentication.
