About the position

The Technical Account Manager at Axon serves as the primary point of support for the Tulsa Police Department, acting as a subject matter expert on Axon's products and services. This role involves providing technical support, managing customer relationships, and facilitating software adoption to enhance the agency's use of Axon's Records Management Systems. The position is critical in ensuring the agency's needs are met and that they receive timely assistance with any technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent technical support for Axon's RMS and Standards products to the Tulsa Police Department.
  • Collaborate with external customers and internal employees to resolve issues smoothly.
  • Maintain high availability to assist customers outside of normal business hours.
  • Document processes and issues, providing feedback for internal improvements.
  • Manage projects and assignments involving customers, acting as a liaison between Axon and the customer.
  • Assist the agency in adopting Axon's software through change management processes.
  • Fulfill agency configuration requests using Form Builder/JSON, SQL Server, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Support software integrations and manage datastore/data warehouse.
  • Troubleshoot agency issues and work with engineering and product teams for resolution.
  • Spend up to 4 days on-site per week with customers to resolve issues and answer questions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field OR 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience building custom Microsoft Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
  • Proficient in writing and optimizing queries and creating reports in SQL Server.
  • Proven track record in managing customer relationships and technical projects in a customer-facing role.
  • Understanding of API integration protocols and data exchange formats.
  • Experience in providing support for software integrations and DataStore/Datawarehouse management.
  • Ability to perform reverse engineering and root cause analysis.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Networking, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of SAAS, Cloud solutions, Virtualization, and Storage.
  • Familiarity with routing and switching methodologies, Wi-Fi, telecommunications, and Internet technologies.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Splunk, JIRA, and/or Salesforce.
  • Experience supporting law enforcement software systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS).
