About the position

The Technical Account Manager/VCIO at NetConnect is responsible for collaborating with clients to establish effective IT strategies that align with their business goals. This role involves regular face-to-face meetings with clients, providing superior support, and acting as a trusted advisor for all IT-related matters. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to communicate complex strategies to C-Level executives, ensuring that client needs are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Identify client business goals and develop technical roadmaps that align with technical and business objectives.
  • Provide superior support by taking ownership of client issues from initial contact to resolution.
  • Meet regularly with clients from initial onboarding through quarterly reviews to advocate new product features and ensure prompt resolution of challenges.
  • Take ownership of client portfolio and align client environment with NetConnect's best practices and standards.
  • Manage the upsell and cross-sell sales process for existing NetConnect clients.
  • Write documentation and tutorials to improve client experience with NetConnect.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical, sales, and business teams to ensure alignment in service delivery.
  • Manage project delivery for accounts, including project management and implementation.
  • Serve as a technical point of escalation to help identify, triage, and solve issues.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a technical or sales role.
  • Technical knowledge of security, local and wide area networking, administration, cloud technologies (private, hybrid, public), Microsoft, storage including backup, and other technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability in a technical environment.
  • Experience in managing strategic partnerships or client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical clients.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves
