About the position

As a Technical Account Manager at Thales, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic customers, managing complex implementation and onboarding projects, and handling technical escalations. This role requires you to work closely with various teams to resolve issues related to the Incapsula Cloud and SecureSphere products, while also becoming a technical authority in these areas. Your focus will be on improving best practices for security solutions and services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and enhancing the overall security posture of client systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Imperva cloud and on-premise security product deployments for assigned accounts.
  • Keep customer teams updated on onboarding, configuration, tuning efforts, cases, feature requests, and current security trends.
  • Perform quarterly systems health checks and service reviews.
  • Accelerate case closures and increase visibility on deployment pain points.
  • Create and deepen customer relationships through on-site visits.
  • Analyze customer data to make recommendations for improving systems health and security posture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Technical Support (tier 2-3) role.
  • Documented experience as a Technical Account Manager or in Pre/Post Sales within the web/network/information security industries.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Cloud, Security, or Network related products.
  • Excellent Customer Support skills with a BS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications and understanding of Web Application Security (OWASP top 10).
  • Prior experience with Linux and other UNIX operating systems.
  • Knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl, Python, or Shell.
