About the position

The Technical Account Manager at Boring Business Systems is a vital role focused on driving growth in Managed Network Services (MNS) through new sales, upselling to existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities. The position requires a strong emphasis on customer relationship management and sales process oversight, ensuring high standards of service and quality are maintained throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to drive new MNS business sales and upsell existing accounts.
  • Travel to customer locations to build relationships and present MNS solutions.
  • Oversee all aspects of the MNS sales process from initial outreach to deal closing.
  • Accurately complete required documentation and organize client data.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring all pre- and post-sales activities meet high standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in IT, managed services, or technology-related industries.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and a passion for technology.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up processes.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to client sites.
