About the position

The Technical Account Manager is responsible for coordinating activities across internal departments, external third parties, and new Enterprise customers to ensure a smooth systems implementation experience. This role involves training, managing customer interactions, and addressing escalated issues while maintaining regular communication with clients regarding system enhancements and releases.

Responsibilities

  • Build long term relationships with clients
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor
  • Understand customer's relevant business challenges and provide expertise in industry concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Identify areas within client IT environment for greater utilization of TechCentral services
  • Manage competing client demands with strong organizational skills
  • Identify sales opportunities through hardware lifecycle replacement and client interactions
  • Manage virtual CIO service offerings and provide QBR presentations to enterprise clients
  • Oversee all post-implementation aspects of Enterprise accounts, including escalation handling and reporting
  • Act as a point person for customer escalation issues not resolved within 24 hours
  • Liaison between the Enterprise team and the customer for issue resolution
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of increasing responsibility in applicable professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline
  • Good understanding of industry practices
  • Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures
  • Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques
  • Good decision making, analysis, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical background in software and hardware
  • Understanding of Citrix, SQL, and Enterprise solutions preferred
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Basic conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to unforeseen situations
