About the position

Franklin University is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its Higher Education New Product Development team. This role is essential for managing partner relationships, conducting business analysis, and overseeing project management tailored to the needs of higher education partners. The Technical Account Manager will implement new accounts and foster growth across various educational channels, ensuring that the university's offerings meet partners' needs through leadership and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage partner relationships and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Analyze partner data and suggest product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies with partner requirements.
  • Explore operational and technical alternatives, make formal recommendations, and guide discussions to reach conclusive solutions.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Develop and adhere to account plans and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics related to account management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in account management and successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in SQL/Report Builder and Visio.
  • Previous experience in the higher education sector is an advantage.
  • Financial literacy, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and technical product knowledge.
  • Strong technical acumen and experience in managing complex technical accounts and resolving customer issues.
