About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a crucial role in managing the post-sales process for both direct and channel customers. This position requires the TAM to effectively communicate the company's technology and product offerings to both business and technical users, ensuring complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts
  • Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams
  • Provide functional and technical support to customers
  • Respond to customer questions on technical and business-related issues
  • Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
  • Attend conferences, seminars, etc.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge in security and compliance space: Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance and Audit Tools, and other enterprise security solutions
  • Knowledge of Federal Regulatory Compliance issues such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills and professional communication in emails, RFPs, and reports
  • Ability to interact at all levels within customer organizations, from C-level to front-line technical staff
  • Organized and analytical with creative problem-solving skills

  • 'Big 4' or similar consulting experience
