About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Kyndryl plays a crucial role in the Customer Success organization, focusing on retaining and growing the client base of Skytap Cloud. This position requires a blend of customer management skills and technical expertise to ensure customers are successful in utilizing Skytap's cloud services. The TAM acts as the primary advocate for customers, driving discussions with senior leadership and representing the voice of the customer in product discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the broader Customer Success team to maintain customer health as measured by the customer scorecard.
  • Interact with customers to understand their technical business needs, drive increased usage, and remove technical barriers for adoption.
  • Develop a technical roadmap for the customer that delivers on the business value expectations based on their investment.
  • Work hands-on with Engineering and Service Delivery teams to identify and debug application issues.
  • Create and deliver periodic reviews of operational performance to customers and internal leadership.
  • Make recommendations on how best to operate and take advantage of our Cloud offering.
  • Ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and continue to drive for results.
  • Exposure to Windows Desktop/Server and/or Linux Operating systems; Power Systems (AIX/IBM i) and Mainframe experience is a plus.
  • 4+ years' experience supporting enterprise-level clients.
  • Experience using VMware or other virtualization technologies.
  • Domain knowledge and industry experience around Solutions as a Service, Software as a Service, SDLC processes, etc.
  • Driven and motivated by customer success.
  • Strong executive presence and proven experience presenting to executives at all levels.
