About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will oversee a diverse portfolio of client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in IT management or directorship, with a focus on aligning IT services with business needs and pursuing opportunities for additional services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide broad-spectrum IT support, including networking, field service, systems, and client systems.
  • Align IT services with business requirements, making strategic recommendations to optimize and utilize IT services effectively.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for additional IT services that could benefit clients, supporting the sales team in a 5-step process.
  • Meet KPIs related to margin and opportunity hunting, with a focus on performance and client retention.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or Director, with a broad understanding of various IT domains.
  • Strong technical background, particularly in networking and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to align IT services with business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with internal POCs and clients effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) is beneficial.
  • Tier II experience and understanding.
