About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Conversica is responsible for enabling customers to maximize the value of the Conversica SaaS service through integration with Salesforce and other CRMs. This role involves providing technical support during the sales cycle, leading the onboarding of new customers, and offering ongoing support to existing clients. The TAM will build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders within mid-size customer organizations, ensuring they receive expert guidance and support throughout their journey with Conversica.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and onboard new customers to the Conversica platform
  • Lead integrations with modern CRM and Marketing Systems including Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Eloqua, and Marketo
  • Support the sales team with technical aspects of the sales process, including conducting technical integration demos and answering technical questions
  • Act as the customer-facing 'product expert'
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers' technical staff, managers, and executive sponsors
  • Provide Tier-3 technical support to customers
  • Serve as a customer advocate by collecting feedback on product needs and understanding customer trends
  • Maintain an understanding of open requests for customers to ensure efficiency
  • Work with internal teams to resolve customers' technical issues

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in technical account management, technical product support, software development, or sales engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in building relationships
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously
  • Experience working with Salesforce is a plus

  • Experience with marketing automation systems (MarTech)
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on customer and business needs
