About the position

The Technical Account Manager (Australia & New Zealand) at Disney is responsible for providing technical and operational support to enhance the product experience for Disney+ in the ANZ market. This role focuses on driving subscriber growth, customer engagement, and satisfaction through collaboration with various partners and teams. The position is ideal for someone early in their career with aspirations in product management, emphasizing a data-driven approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support external distribution and promotional partners across ANZ with product and technology activities including technical integrations, device/platform updates, and major product updates.
  • Act as a technical and product Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support internal and external partner activities as required.
  • Articulate goals and requirements to support the successful execution of new features, enhancements, and offerings for ANZ customers and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with the localisation and review of product documentation, ensuring local product requirements and capabilities are met.
  • Handle ad hoc requests to support internal and external partner activities as a technical and product SME.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Technical Account Management or Product role, or similar experience.
  • Experience working closely with internal and external technical teams, translating technical language to non-technical users, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing issue tracking and resolution.
  • Excellent critical thinking, teamwork, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • An understanding of consumer behavior is beneficial.
  • Proficient with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence, data analytics and visualization tools such as Looker, and modeling tools such as Excel. Expertise in CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.
