About the position

The Technical Account Senior Manager at Salesforce is responsible for advising customers on the adoption of new features, managing relationships with key business and IT partners, and ensuring successful implementation of Salesforce solutions. This role involves tracking root cause analysis, providing proactive guidance, and coordinating with internal teams during service disruptions. The position emphasizes customer success and the effective use of Salesforce's offerings to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to customers for the adoption of new features of Salesforce's annual release schedules.
  • Identify potential challenges and risks to customer's implementation.
  • Track internal root cause analysis efforts and provide customers with descriptions of causes and future prevention actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer business and IT partners to understand their top business goals and priorities.
  • Act as an internal authority on customer's key value drivers and needs, serving as a point of contact for internal partners.
  • Coordinate the completion of the Signature Success catalog of services as required for the customer.
  • Provide timely, proactive Salesforce feature guidance based on customer interests.
  • Reinforce the value in the implementation of technical recommendations for improvement based on Proactive Monitoring guidance.
  • Provide regular updates and communications to key customer contacts during infrastructure service degradations or disruptions.
  • Partner with internal teams like Signature Support delivery and the Critical Incident Center for after-hours coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related field.
  • Special skills in Scrum, CRM, CPQ, Agile Project Management, Salesforce Implementation, Project Budgeting and Scheduling, User Training and Adoption, Quote-to-Cash Optimization, Data Management, and Business Analysis.
