About the position
Alpha InJenuity is seeking a Technical Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide acquisition and technical expertise to a government contracting office. The role involves assisting in the procurement process, focusing on technical disciplines such as systems engineering, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity, while ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist government contracting office with acquisition and technical subject matter expertise during the procurement process.
- Provide expertise in operations, system engineering, system integration, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, AI/Machine Learning, and network cybersecurity.
- Engage in acquisition planning and source selection phases.
- Write and edit Statements of Work (SOWs) and Request for Proposals (RFP) documentation for the Federal Government.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Requirements
- US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or global/economic/political discipline.
- Eight years of combined experience in operations, system engineering, system integration, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, AI/Machine Learning, and/or network cybersecurity.
- Three years of acquisition experience, including acquisition planning and/or source selection phases.
- Three years of experience in technical writing and/or editing of documents.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in a technical or global/economic/political discipline.
- Experience writing/editing systems engineering documents.
- DAWIA Contracting Certified or legacy Levels or FAC-C certification.
- FAC-C, CCMA, CFCM, CPCM, or CCMA certifications.
- Experience with FAR Part 15 Best Value Tradeoff competitions.
