Responsibilities

• Tackle highly difficult or specialized software problems and document the results.
• Create, manage, and enhance software development processes and tools to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and software development teams to deliver verified software features.
• Make critical decisions in software requirements, architecture, design, and testing.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review the work of less-experienced developers/testers and provide coaching.
• Lead problem resolution for complex systems with high ambiguity.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in work processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
• Prior Technical Specialist/Specialist Engineering equivalent work experience is required.
• Demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading verification and validation of embedded software.

Nice-to-haves

• Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
• Experience in automotive tools and communication bus systems and protocols.
