About the position

The Technical Analyst III at BOK Financial plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between Financial Systems, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Accounting. This position is focused on ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of data sets that are essential for the organization. As a seasoned professional, the Technical Analyst III will leverage their comprehensive understanding of industry-wide business processes and analysis practices to define, analyze, design, program, plan, implement, and support critical systems software and procedures. This role is integral to the long-term technology roadmap of the organization, requiring a deep technical and systems knowledge to effectively manage projects that have significant organizational impact. In this position, you will be responsible for writing business requirements, analyzing data, developing solutions, testing results, and implementing these solutions across various Oracle platforms, both on-premises and in the Oracle Cloud. You will contribute to the technology strategy and architecture methodologies within the Financial Systems team, collaborating with other analysts to lead projects and provide day-to-day support for complex application systems in Finance, Accounting, and other key areas. Your advanced technical understanding of data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, and project management skills will be essential in executing Disaster Recovery processes and ensuring the resilience of the technology infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Financial Systems, FP&A, and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely data sets.
  • Write business requirements and analyze data to develop solutions for Oracle platforms.
  • Test results and implement solutions into both on-prem and Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Contribute to the technology strategy and architecture methodologies in the Financial Systems team.
  • Collaborate with other analysts to lead projects and provide day-to-day support for complex applications systems.
  • Execute Disaster Recovery processes and ensure compliance with IT and Information Security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations.
  • Solid technical understanding of complex data flows across multiple applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL Queries and software/system integration.
  • Knowledge of database and data warehousing principles and tools.
  • Experience with tiered environments (development, testing, UAT, production, DR).
  • Understanding of application disaster recovery processes and Cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with IT and Information Security standards and concepts.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
  • Well-developed project management skills and collaborative skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Enterprise Planning and Budgeting.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Cloud (OCI or OFSAA).
  • Knowledge of APEX Development and Agile Methodology.
  • Banking and Accounting experience.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux/WebLogic and ESSBASE/Hyperion.
