About the position

CGI is seeking a Technical Analyst/Product Owner with expertise in FHIR standards to enhance development processes and deliver effective solutions. This role involves collaborating with IT teams to define technical requirements, data models, and API designs, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. The position supports agile delivery and requires strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into actionable user stories.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical guidance to peers, IT leadership, and other departments regarding business process design and improvement.
  • Collaborate with business and QA partners to review documented business requirements and create business scenarios and user stories.
  • Work closely with scrum masters, PMs, QA, and development teams to organize agile delivery.
  • Conduct JAD sessions with business/IT stakeholders to articulate mobile impacts and document artifacts.
  • Perform data mapping exercises for clinical data from source systems to FHIR data models.
  • Analyze impacted modules within mobile device platforms and enterprise service/source system layers.
  • Work with UX design teams to define the mobile/web experience for end customers.

Requirements

  • At least 6+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst analyzing API & web and mobile application systems.
  • Strong experience in Data Mapping based on FHIR standards.
  • 6+ years of experience as a technical product owner.
  • Deep understanding of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).
  • Excellent application design skills and building technical logic for web and API.
  • Experience with AWS in designing data flow and Lambda.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively partner with business and technical IT teams.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with database query tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and Mobile/Web technologies is preferred.
