About the position

The Technical Analyst position within Wayfair's Forecasting & Replenishment Analytics team focuses on creating advanced analytical tools and modeling solutions to predict inventory coverage and performance metrics for the CastleGate program. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop modeling solutions that generate forward-looking projections for performance metrics.
• Perform statistical analysis across large data sets to develop performance insights.
• Leverage findings to improve operational efficiencies and business outcomes.
• Develop key metrics and analytical tooling for Wayfair's CastleGate program.
• Create efficient data structures for organizational use.
• Partner with Inventory Management, Network Management, and Ops Forecasting teams to improve insights adoption.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and technology partners to align business objectives with data science strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
