About the position

The Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the architecture of .net applications on the Azure cloud platform while utilizing DevOps practices. This role is crucial for ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high performing .net applications on azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure alignment with architecture standards and best practices.
  • Leading efforts to adopt and implement DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal application performance.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members on .net development, Azure services, and DevOps tools.
  • Evaluating new technologies and tools to enhance the current architecture and development processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with security standards and data protection regulations in all solutions designed and implemented.

Requirements

  • In-depth expertise in .net framework and development tools.
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of application scalability, microservices architecture, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert would be a plus.
