About the position

We are seeking an experienced Architect with a strong background in enterprise infrastructure design and a solid understanding of Ansible. The ideal candidate will have architect-level experience in both Linux and Windows environments, and will be well-versed in the latest technologies and best practices in infrastructure management. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure, as well as a strong grasp of cyber security principles and disaster recovery planning. The candidate should also be familiar with modern software development practices, including DevOps, microservices, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions across public cloud and on-premises environments.
• Utilize Ansible for automation and orchestration of infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain architectural governance, processes, standards, and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Present complex solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Conduct disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with cyber security principles and best practices.

Requirements

• Expertise in enterprise infrastructure design, including public cloud, networking, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Thorough understanding of virtualization technologies and concepts such as HCI, IaaS, and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with next-gen firewalls and stateful access-control lists.
• Experience designing and building cloud environments using AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and technologies.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Familiarity with modern software development and DevOps concepts.
• Experience with automation and scripting using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
