Technical Architect

About the position

The Technical Architect will manage complex technology implementations, focusing on reengineering and refactoring to create efficient systems. This role involves leveraging open source technologies and IaaS providers, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and contributing to the vision and objectives of projects. The architect will design systems using modern programming languages and frameworks, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex technology implementations and ensure system efficiency through reengineering and refactoring.
• Architect overall systems using prototyping and proof of concepts with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Utilize relational and NoSQL databases for data management and storage solutions.
• Implement automated configuration management and continuous integration/deployment solutions.
• Develop product roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria, and write user stories for project delivery.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to understand business requirements and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with technical design.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems development, analysis, programming, or testing.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong focus on data modeling and understanding of Azure services.
• Experience with Azure Dataverse and leveraging Microsoft Azure's ecosystem for data management.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and Databricks.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
