About the position

The Technical Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the Fenergo implementation project for a Japanese bank, focusing on translating business requirements into technical solutions. This position requires collaboration with both technical and business teams, and involves hands-on experience with KYC systems, particularly Fenergo. The role is primarily onsite in Manhattan, NY, three days a week, with remote work allowed for the remaining days.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions for the Fenergo implementation project.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Gather and document business requirements and write detailed specifications.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts and managing testing processes.
  • Perform data mapping and validation related to system migration.
  • Create and maintain documentation to support project team productivity and timelines.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or related role, preferably within financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with KYC platforms, ideally Fenergo, and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing testing processes.
  • Strong data mapping and validation skills related to system migration.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Information Technology.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
  • Must hold U.S. Work Permission.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in large-scale financial services projects, especially in regulatory applications and client onboarding.
  • Familiarity with data migration processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different regions, including EMEA and the US.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Bilingual in Japanese preferred.
