About the position

The Technical Business Analyst with Credit Card Domain & Payments role is focused on bridging the gap between technology and business needs within the financial industry. The position requires a strong background in IT, particularly in development or coding, and emphasizes collaboration with technical teams to ensure the feasibility of solutions. The analyst will be responsible for data quality management, user story creation, and interaction with various stakeholders to enhance data integrity and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Develop data quality metrics and standards to ensure high-quality and error-free data.
• Proactively monitor, measure, analyze, and report on data quality issues.
• Interact with business users to resolve data quality problems using root cause analysis and collecting user requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts.
• Work with Client Managers to address questions about financial content and make recommendations.
• Generate reports based on special requests and work with other departments to resolve issues associated with specific loads.
• Apply technical knowledge to resolve data integrity issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience.
• Previous development or coding background preferred.
• Experience in the financial industry, particularly in the last two or three projects.
• Understanding of technology infrastructure and data flows.
• Experience in Cards Dispute & Frauds domain is a value addition.
• Ability to write User Stories in BDD format.
• Deep technical acumen and architecture understanding.
• Experience working on data processing tasks using SPSS/Excel/Quantum or other methods.
