About the position

The Technical Business Development Manager will represent and promote the company's Beauty and Personal Care portfolio, focusing on providing value-added technical support to customers and driving sales growth in this sector. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, project management, and hands-on work in a laboratory setting to understand and recommend products effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to completion with the collaboration of Regional Account Managers.
• Organize and lead pillar promotions including feedback from the customer to the company and to the principal.
• Facilitate customer specific presentations on the company's capability, trend analysis and end applications.
• Liaison with pillar principals and Principal Manager on goals and objectives, as well as specific product and market targets.
• Make product recommendations.
• Understand the pillar portfolio and do hands-on work in a laboratory setting.

Requirements

• Minimum B.S. Degree in Science.
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the Beauty & Personal industry.
• Competency in Sales Management Systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in Science is preferred.
• Business development or technical sales certifications is preferred.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, self-motivation, and team player mentality.
• Good relationship building skills.
• Will exhibit an eagerness for contributing beyond immediate duties and getting the job done.
• Will be sufficiently mature to be able to move forward from setbacks.
