About the position

The Associate Director, Technical Capability Business Engagement will play a crucial role in the Technical Capability Development team, focusing on enhancing the technical capabilities and leadership skills of employees within the Information Technology division. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to assess business requirements, manage relationships, and execute change management strategies to foster a learning culture in IT. The role aims to ensure a consistent and effective learning experience aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Technical Capability Development Product Manager to enable strategic vision and direction.
  • Serve as lead change agent for Technical Capability Development, promoting vision and processes.
  • Operationalize ways of working within IT to enhance efficiency in delivering learning experiences.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify strategic fit for the product roadmap.
  • Make recommendations to leadership based on observations, assessments, and feedback.
  • Activate and drive an IT Learning Council for a cohesive learning experience.
  • Maintain cross-organizational stakeholder relationships to align with core objectives.
  • Deliver change assessments, adoption plans, and interventions for learner experiences.
  • Collaborate with IT and GL&D communications teams on communication plans and content.
  • Create and write communication templates and articles for stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement sustainment strategies to reinforce changes in IT operations.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to embed new processes supporting skill development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships within IT.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change management activities.
  • Experience in executing communications activities supporting business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills for conducting business analysis and making recommendations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Thought leadership in Technical Capability Development.
  • Experience in governance framework management for product oversight.
  • Ability to conduct quarterly sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Familiarity with business architecture concepts and processes.
