About The Position

Salesforce is seeking multiple Technical Consultants to join the Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). This role involves demonstrating technical thought leadership in customer and partner engagements, leading to the successful delivery of solutions, including enterprise integrations using middleware tools and platforms. Technical Consultants will be responsible for evaluating and implementing technical solutions for customers, managing risks, and ensuring high client satisfaction through effective solution development and release management.

Requirements

  • Hands-on technical and solution implementation experience in a relevant software domain.
  • Coding experience in object-oriented languages.
  • Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
  • Ability to support customers and project members in deploying emerging technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and possess good presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Salesforce Platform and/or other CRM products.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or other products in the Commerce space.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or other products in the Marketing Automation space.
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or other products in the billing and revenue space.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience working in a consulting role with matrix teams.

  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership in customer and partner engagements.

  • Identify and proactively handle risk areas in projects.
  • Contribute to customer success through front and backend solution development and release management.
  • Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices.
  • Drive the creation of application and technical design documents.
  • Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and drive to successful resolution.
  • Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems.
  • Build relationships with business partners, internal and external.
