In-Situ® Inc. is seeking a Technical Content Developer (Technical Writer II) to join our User Experience (UX) team in Fort Collins, CO. This role is pivotal in enhancing the customer experience with our innovative environmental monitoring equipment. The Technical Content Developer will be responsible for creating and updating product instruction manuals, quick-start guides, and other technical documentation for our water monitoring instruments and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer-centric attitude, ensuring that all documentation is designed with the user's needs, situations, and goals in mind. This position requires a blend of technical writing skills and the ability to communicate complex scientific information in a clear and accessible manner. As part of the UX team, the Technical Content Developer will collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including mechanical and electrical engineers, sales teams, product managers, chemists, and software engineers, to document official user procedures. The role involves researching and understanding technical information and translating it for less technical users, ensuring that the documentation meets the high standards of quality that In-Situ is known for.
