About the position

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in the Corporate Investment Bank's Payments Technology division, you will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects. This role focuses on fostering growth and innovation while ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. You will also serve as a lead technical writer, responsible for creating high-quality documentation for both internal and external audiences, particularly in the area of API documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Document and collaborate with product owners, support specialists, trainers, and engineers to produce high-quality technical documentation for our products and services, including user guides, technical API documentation, FAQs, system manuals, technical specifications, and training materials.
  • Work closely with product and development teams to translate technical specifications into user-friendly, understandable content, ensuring user-centricity in the documentation.
  • Develop documentation to aid support specialists in troubleshooting and resolving issues, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist in the development of effective training materials for clients, including writing scripts for video tutorials, creating slide decks for webinars, and drafting handouts for in-person training sessions.
  • Review documentation to ensure clarity, conciseness, and user-friendliness, performing ongoing updates to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in project management and technology delivery.
  • Extensive experience in documenting APIs and transforming open API specifications into technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate ambiguity and change.
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities to foster productive working relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the finance industry or with financial technology projects.
  • Familiarity with user-centric design principles in documentation.
