About the position

At Anyscale, we're on a mission to democratize distributed computing and make it accessible to software developers of all skill levels. We're commercializing Ray, a popular open-source project that's creating an ecosystem of libraries for scalable machine learning. Companies like OpenAI, Uber, Spotify, Instacart, Cruise, and many more, have Ray in their tech stacks to accelerate the progress of AI applications out into the real world. With Anyscale, we're building the best place to run Ray, so that any developer or data scientist can scale an ML application from their laptop to the cluster without needing to be a distributed systems expert. We're seeking a technically-minded content creator who can bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and compelling technical content. As our Technical Content Writer, you'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to create high-impact technical blogs, tutorials, and documentation that resonates with developers. You'll be the storyteller who helps developers understand the power of Ray and Anyscale's platform, turning complex distributed computing concepts into clear, actionable content.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams to identify and prioritize technical topics for content creation
• Transform complex technical concepts and code examples into clear, engaging blog posts and tutorials
• Manage the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation to publication
• Stage and publish content across various platforms while maintaining consistent quality and technical accuracy
• Track and analyze content performance metrics to optimize future content strategy
• Ensure technical accuracy while maintaining an engaging, developer-friendly writing style
• Collaborate with marketing team to align technical content with broader marketing initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in an engineering or science discipline
• 4+ years of relevant experience as a content creator
• Proven track record of creating compelling technical content
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong interest in and understanding of AI/ML industry trends
• Experience with both established and start up environments
• Demonstrable work experience in ambiguous environments that is typical of high growth start-up environments to showcase comfort with ambiguity and a very fast pace

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Contentful or a similar CMS
• Technical experience is a plus
• Experience writing to a developer community is highly recommended
