About the position

The Technical Curriculum Developer for AWS Game-based Learning is responsible for creating engaging and effective learning content that leverages AWS technologies. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials, including hands-on labs and in-game content, aimed at enhancing the technical skills of AWS customers. The position emphasizes a passion for learning and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training formats.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and build learning content for AWS Game-based learning products.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and build hands-on labs, in-game dialogs, topic videos, and solution diagrams.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for content delivery.
• Play the game to ensure quality control and improve customer experience.
• Build relationships with service teams to shape content and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.

Requirements

• 3+ years demonstrated experience building or supporting AWS solutions.
• Experience writing Python scripts.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of networking, security, databases (relational or NoSQL), and operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows).

Nice-to-haves

• At least one AWS Certification.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials.
