About the position

The Technical Curriculum Developer for AWS Game-based Learning is responsible for creating engaging and effective learning content that helps customers build their cloud skills using AWS technologies. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, developing hands-on labs, and ensuring the quality of training materials. The position emphasizes a passion for learning and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training formats.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and build learning content for AWS Game-based learning products.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and build hands-on labs, in-game dialogs, topic videos, and solution diagrams.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for content delivery.
• Work with AWS teams to understand training needs and shape content accordingly.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to innovate training absorption methods.
• Play the game to ensure quality control and improve customer experience.

Requirements

• 1+ years demonstrated experience building or supporting AWS solutions.
• Experience writing Python scripts.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of networking, security, databases (relational or NoSQL), and operating systems (Mac, Linux, Windows).

Nice-to-haves

• At least one AWS Certification.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials.
