About the position

As a Technical Curriculum Developer at Datadog, you will be part of the Customer Education & Training team, responsible for creating and delivering high-quality cloud engineering learning content. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams to develop engaging training courses, workshops, and certifications that enhance customer understanding of Datadog's solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, to improve existing content and create new hands-on labs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Azure-focused engineering and product teams to produce engaging training courses and content for Datadog's customer and partner curriculums.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate customer training requirements and develop a roadmap with clearly scoped courses and well-defined learning paths.
  • Create high-quality courses for both self-paced online programs and instructor-led training.
  • Develop supplemental courseware and documentation, including workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars.
  • Create, maintain, and improve the technical systems and environments used in hands-on labs.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience as a technical curriculum developer, SRE, or devops professional.
  • Hands-on experience in building online learning curriculum, hands-on labs, and instructor-led training material for an engineering and developer audience.
  • Specialized knowledge in building learning content for SREs and devops professionals, particularly with Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, and service mesh.
  • Experience and interest in training operations, including design, efficiency, and functionality of the Learning Center and internal tooling.
  • Ability to transform complex technical topics into engaging educational materials.
