About The Position

The Technical Customer Service Representative at Akkodis is responsible for providing exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries related to orders, returns, and technical issues. This role involves collaborating with various departments to resolve complex customer concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive or technical sector.
  • Technical automotive experience is required for effective customer support.
  • Previous experience working with ordering systems and a customer-facing role is desired.
  • Additional certifications in customer service or technical support are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, returns, pricing, product availability, and lead times in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Enter orders via phone, fax, email, mail, and EDI, while managing order tracking and invoice discrepancies.
  • Provide technical and application support for the entire product line to assist customers with their needs.
  • Research and relay the status of orders using computer systems to keep customers informed.
  • Forward sales leads to the appropriate sales department for follow-up on potential new clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Manage emergency orders by prioritizing shipping and ensuring prompt delivery.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and referring unresolved issues to the Customer Service Manager.
