About the position

The Technical Customer Service Representative role is focused on providing exceptional support to customers in the deck railing industry. This position involves assisting customers with product inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth experience from order placement to delivery. The representative will utilize their knowledge of the product line and technical skills to help customers understand installation procedures and product specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and know the product line
  • Assist customers with quotes and take-offs via email and phone
  • Take, process, and track rail orders
  • Input orders into the CRM system
  • Coordinate shipment of orders from the KC Warehouse or Canadian Warehouse
  • Discuss installation procedures with customers
  • Handle incoming leads

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service
  • Strong computer skills
  • Math skills
  • Construction background (preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints (preferred)

  • Experience in construction
