We are seeking a Data Governance Manager to join our newly established Data Management Office. This role is pivotal in leading the establishment and implementation of our Enterprise Data Governance Strategy and frameworks. As a Data Governance Manager, you will drive the adoption of data governance practices across the organization, enhancing data maturity and literacy. This position is based in our Irvine, California office, and we support a hybrid work model. In this dynamic role, you will lead the Enterprise Data Governance team and build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders to obtain their buy-in and involvement at key points. Your efforts will support decisions, lead the roll-out of training, and ensure the sustainability of data governance management within their Business Unit across various data domains. You will develop the Enterprise Data Governance operating model with an end-to-end Data Governance framework, ensuring the establishment of Data Ownership and a robust model for GHD to meet its Data Governance ambitions with the adoption of enterprise Data Governance standards. You will be responsible for driving results and progress of Data Governance initiatives and projects through influence and collaboration within Information Services and other business units. Producing professional and high-quality Data Governance reports, communications, and presentations will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will lead the development of first-line Data Governance controls and play a crucial role in facilitating enterprise data maturity assessments. Maintaining collaborative and positive relationships with GHD business units and Legal, Risk, and Compliance Partners will be essential. You will also lead the development of Enterprise Frameworks and standards across GHD Data Regulation, AI Governance & Ethics, Data Security, Data Privacy, and Data Lifecycle Management.
