About the position

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes using Azure DevOps on the Azure cloud platform. This role involves managing the release lifecycle for multiple applications, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project teams, and providing tools and services to facilitate successful deployments into production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build CI-CD implementation using Azure DevOps on the Azure cloud platform for designated projects.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in Release Management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Manage the Release Management lifecycle, including scheduling and coordinating releases across the enterprise.
  • Provide tool awareness and services to assist product management and project teams in managing and deploying releases.
  • Implement and manage release processes for code through development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with software development participants to support developers and testers in setting up their build environments.
  • Liaise with project leads, quality assurance, operations groups, and other stakeholders on release and delivery progress.
  • Produce deployment run books and Implementation Plans, and work with release engineers on code merges.
  • Develop and deliver scripts and automation tools for building, integrating, and deploying software releases.
  • Document all processes, including content for the department website on CI/CD.

Requirements

  • Five years of CI/CD, DevOps experience with a strong understanding of Software Configuration Management.
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps (VSTS) and Azure offerings such as Web apps, ASE, ASP, function apps, SQL PaaS, and Storage accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft platform including IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server, Service Fabric, and Active Directory.
  • Expertise in container-based applications (AKS).
  • Experience in building and deploying applications on Linux environments.
  • Ability to maintain and manage repositories on JFrog Artifactory.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
