About the position

The Technical Design Assistant at Richina Apparel plays a crucial role in ensuring that garment samples meet customer specifications and quality standards. This position involves collaborating with the technical designer and production team to address any issues related to fabric, color, or placement, while also providing technical support to overseas partners. The assistant will oversee documentation processes, maintain records, and ensure effective communication across various teams to enhance consistency and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing fit/PP samples with the technical designer and production team.
• Provide technical support to overseas partners to improve fit and offer clear comments.
• Coordinate with production and development teams to resolve issues and ensure efficiency.
• Oversee process documentation and circulate workflow charts to relevant personnel.
• Maintain detailed records of samples and materials for various projects.
• Review T&A chart and follow up on sample status with the factory.
• Prepare quality control reports for the season.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in the fashion industry preferred.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Knowledge of the apparel development process from inception through production.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator.
