About the position

The Technical Director, Warehouse Management/Logistics Solutions Architecture at Bristol-Myers Squibb is responsible for designing and implementing innovative warehouse management, transportation management, and logistics solutions that optimize supply chain operations. This role requires a strong background in logistics capabilities and solution architecture, with a focus on delivering business value through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate warehouse management, transportation management, and logistic solutions utilizing SAP and SAP eWM.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, build, manage, and operate solutions.
  • Gather, understand, and share requirements to architect, design, and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including diagrams and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during implementation.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable while adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in logistics solutions.
  • Recommend complementary and/or new solutions as appropriate.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT related to warehouse management, transportation management, and/or logistics.
  • At least 5 years focused on solution architecture and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and supporting integrated logistics solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working internationally with a globally dispersed team.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in SAP S/4 and/or SAP eWM.
  • Prior experience in a global life sciences supply chain planning environment.
