Responsibilities

  • Produce all-source intelligence analysis and manage the production of analysis products.
  • Proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy.
  • Apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards to the production of intelligence products.
  • Prepare intelligence assessments and written products with an emphasis on logical argumentation and analytic clarity.
  • Provide time-critical recommendations to clients under pressure.
  • Mentor and lead other analysts, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organization.
  • Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products.
  • Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis through all stages of the intelligence production process.
  • Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy.
  • Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements.
  • Ability to prepare intelligence assessments and written products with an emphasis on logical argumentation and analytic clarity.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with technical editing in lieu of a degree.
