As a Technical Editor/Writer at Nightwing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities for a U.S. Government customer. This position is integral to a large mission-critical development and sustainment program that focuses on creating a network operations environment and introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and determining the correct delivery routing of various technical communication deliverables, including engineering design documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, standard operating procedures, and meeting minutes. Your work will involve using pre-existing templates to ensure consistency and clarity in documentation. In this role, you will coordinate documentation demands and requirements directly with program development and operational subject matter experts. You will independently manage timelines for all deliveries across multiple task orders, ensuring that all technical documentation is completed on schedule. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the adjudication of formal commentary and feedback on all technical documentation, maintaining proper handling of all types of documentation, and engaging with multiple libraries and other identified document locations. You will also support other Technical Writers in both surge and peer-review work, fostering a collaborative environment. This position requires a strong understanding of technical writing and editing, particularly in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. You will need to demonstrate fluid technical writing skills, including the use of AP Style, and the ability to work under pressure with clients, program managers, and subject matter experts. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the future of cybersecurity and intelligence as part of the Nightwing team.
