ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking a Computer Specialist / Programmer Level 1 to join our team in support of the Federal Aviation Administration's National Airspace System Engineering Support Services (FAA NAS ESS) contract. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that require a blend of technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. The successful candidate will perform multiple and varying assignments under the direction of a Technical Manager or an experienced professional. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, writing, and publishing technical documentation that is essential for field technicians and engineering personnel across various platforms. You will also engage in programming tasks, collecting, recording, and analyzing data and information, as well as providing troubleshooting support. Your work will involve analyzing, managing, supervising, or performing tasks necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify systems aimed at solving problems or enhancing work processes through computer technology. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of information processing methodologies, computer capabilities, and processing techniques is crucial. You will act as an individual contributor and/or as part of a team, applying your technical and publishing knowledge to accomplish assignments effectively. Coordination with a Technical Manager or more experienced technical specialists will be necessary to plan your time and utilize assigned resources efficiently. Collaboration with other employees, both contract and federal, will be essential for sharing information, providing data and written analyses, and discussing the status of assignments. It is important to note that your work may impact the safety and security of customers, emphasizing the need for diligence and attention to detail. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, and all applicants must have resided in the United States for the past three years.
