About the position

The Technical Growth Marketing Manager at Pieces.app will lead user acquisition efforts through data-driven marketing strategies, focusing on the developer community. This role involves driving growth marketing experiments throughout the developer journey, enhancing brand awareness, and improving user adoption of Pieces.app. The position requires a proactive individual who can adapt quickly in a startup environment and collaborate closely with the CEO and COO.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly experiment with marketing channels to drive awareness and conversion, discovering low-effort, high-impact strategies.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators aligned with business goals to evaluate partnership effectiveness and overall growth.
  • Act as editor in chief, managing all content and external communications to build a strong brand within the developer community.
  • Track trends within developer communities to develop new ways to engage target audiences.

Requirements

  • Experience in growth marketing, PLG, digital marketing, or similar roles for developer-focused products.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content creation, and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Creative problem-solver with a balance of creativity and logic.
  • Basic understanding of web development frameworks and programming languages.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Pieces, GitHub Copilot, and other developer-enhancing tools.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
