About the position

The Technical Illustrator at Newell Brands is responsible for preparing, designing, illustrating, and publishing instruction manuals and product warning labels for various baby products. This role requires proficiency in Adobe products and strong communication skills to ensure that all materials meet government standards. The position demands the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design, illustrate, and publish instruction manuals and product warning labels for baby products.
• Spend 70% of time illustrating and 30% on desktop publishing.
• Manage multiple projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Brand, Quality, and Compliance teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Graphic Design or equivalent is preferred.
• Three years or more of relevant experience in graphic design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe products (Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat).
• Understanding of Adobe Workfront is desired.
• Ability to learn industry and governmental standards.
