About the position

The Technical Implementation Engineer for Radiology at Optum is responsible for deploying, implementing, and configuring Change Healthcare's Cardiology and Radiology Information Systems (CIS and RIS). This role involves working closely with customers to design and implement optimal solutions, ensuring that systems are error-free and functional before delivery. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely while tackling technical challenges and contributing to health equity on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, implement, and configure Change Healthcare Cardiology products and solutions.
  • Perform software and hardware installation and/or upgrades, system configuration, quality testing, and documentation according to defined processes.
  • Test, benchmark, and verify that the implemented system is error-free and functional prior to delivery to the customer.
  • Work closely with customers to benchmark, design, plan, and implement optimal RIS solutions.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting for Oracle, Microsoft OS, Active Directory, Networking, and Hardware.
  • Perform onsite asset reviews as part of the implementation and transition to the Support group.
  • Count, record, exchange, replace, report shortages, and file RMA reports for all parts issued for builds.
  • Perform Final Quality Assurance for finished systems in accordance with the Enterprise Imaging quality system.
  • Resolve technical problems and analyze issues that may occur during implementation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT experience implementing Information Systems or related experience building and configuring systems.
  • Experience with Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel, MS Server 2019, IIS, and Oracle.
  • Understanding of network topology and protocols.
  • Active Directory knowledge and understanding.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in SQL, Microsoft OS, Active Directory, Networking, and Hardware.
  • Proven capability of lifting 80 lbs. of computer equipment on a continuous basis.
  • Proven capability of working in a confined space for extended periods.
