About the position

The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager II for Data Center Lifecycle Configuration (DCLC) at AWS is responsible for overseeing the creation and management of product Bill of Materials (BOMs) and driving process improvements within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the seamless implementation of components and documentation that support AWS's global infrastructure operations. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and adherence to best practices in change management and PLM functions.

Responsibilities

  • Create product BOMs and process change orders in PLM systems.
  • Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes.
  • Own a program, develop strategies, identify risk, success criteria, execute project plans, and provide communication to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and analyze requirements, and subsequently develop functional designs, configuration, and technical specification documentation.
  • Drive timely part setup, BOM releases, BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) as well as sustaining the business.
  • Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • Experience managing a program, metrics, and driving cross-team projects, process improvements, and creating product bill of materials in a PLM application.

Nice-to-haves
