About the position

The Technical Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and scope. This role involves developing project plans that align with client needs and company goals, coordinating with team managers and technical personnel throughout all project stages, and reporting to the Director of Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT projects with oversight from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans that meet client needs and align with company goals.
  • Coordinate team managers and technical personnel throughout all project stages.
  • Maintain IT strategies by managing staff and implementing technological solutions.
  • Communicate job expectations and monitor staff performance.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train IT staff.
  • Define and support strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Conduct system audits of implemented technologies to verify results.
  • Implement disaster recovery and information security procedures.
  • Forecast requirements and prepare an annual budget for IT projects.
  • Establish and enforce organization standards for quality service.
  • Collaborate and communicate with various teams as needed.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new technical support staff.
  • Report progress and changes to upper management.
  • Contribute to product design and establish requirements.
  • Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor project progress.
  • Oversee user testing and adjust requirements as needed.
  • Review work produced by the development team to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong computer and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BW, and/or SAP EWM.
  • Experience with end-to-end implementations of SAP systems.
