About the position

The Technical Inside Sales Project Manager will play a crucial role in the North American Engineering and Sales organization, focusing on providing technical support and sales assistance. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales experience, and project management skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including OEMs, distribution networks, and sales representatives. The role aims to enhance the company's sales efforts while ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with OEMs, distribution network, and outside sales representatives to provide pre- and post-sales technical information.
  • Manage assigned sales personnel to achieve sales goals and volume.
  • Contribute to the development of annual sales strategy and action plans.
  • Conduct product, customer, and market research.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze customers' needs and propose technical solutions.
  • Provide commercial and technical assistance to Engineers and Representatives.
  • Meet tight deadlines and follow projects through to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in power electronics and power systems is helpful.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Electrical Power industry with an understanding of circuit protection requirements.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
