About the position

The Technical IP Project Manager at Marvell Semiconductor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of IP development and SoC-IP integration support. This role requires strong technical expertise in semiconductor IP development, project management skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IPs into both frontend and backend of the SoC before tape-out.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the internal IP development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Work closely with SoC teams, providing expert guidance on IP selection, floor planning, analog signals distribution, and physical routing.
  • Ensure IP design documents and user guides for SOC use are accurate and up to date by collaborating with IP development and tech writer teams.
  • Drive closure of SOC supporting requests through Jira related to IP integration.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IP development and integration process.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular project updates, status reports, and addressing any concerns or issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Advanced degree (MS/Ph.D.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor IP development, with design background in Analog Mixed-Signal IPs.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Project Manager in the Semiconductor industry preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of SOC design flow for advanced process technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, JIRA, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
