Business Technology Integrators (BTI) in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the automation of the ticketing workflow process for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with specific expertise in workflow automation using Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can manage complex projects in a government environment, ensuring that automation initiatives are delivered on time and within scope. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end management of the project to automate the VA's ticketing workflow process, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution and delivery. This includes developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all milestones are met within the agreed-upon timeline. The manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and third-party vendors, to ensure successful project implementation. In addition to project leadership, the role involves leveraging Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI to design, develop, and implement automated workflows that streamline the VA's ticketing processes. The manager will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and improve service delivery. Ensuring that the automation solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the VA's operational goals and standards is crucial. Stakeholder management is another key aspect of this role. The Technical Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. They will facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations, as well as prepare detailed project reports and documentation for senior management and other key stakeholders. Risk management and problem resolution are also critical components of this position.
